Baking For a cause is the brain-child of Italian Chef/Emterpreneur Ermanno Lelli a veteran in the industry and from a family known for the charitable attitude, his Great Grandma Luisa Gentile used to cook dinner for the needy and helping street girls and kids, at the beginning of the century.
In Bangkok Ermanno joined forces with his cousin Duccio Staffetta, the other half of Segreto Private Dining) and the Bangkok Community Help Foundation who has helped over 4.000.000 people from lower-income communities and is surprising 15.000 children with a Holiday Gift this year.

Our Story
Welcome to "Baking for a Cause," a remarkable charity initiative founded by the talented Chef Ermanno L in the vibrant city of Hong Kong. The inspiration for this heartfelt organization came from a deeply moving experience during a visit to a hospitalized child, coupled with an unexpected encounter at a local orphanage. This touching moment prompted Chef Ermanno to reach out to his friends and connections, igniting a passionate response that resulted in the baking of over 3,000 traditional Neapolitan cherry pies ( see recipe) in an astonishingly short span of just four days. This extraordinary event not only made a significant impact on the lives of those in need but also became the largest baking charity initiative ever held in Asia, illustrating the incredible potential of community spirit and compassion.
